The venue is a Victorian Grade ll listed building dating back to 1892.
It was used as a police station/ prison for over 100 years which now houses a museum. We have a sleepover option for this venue which is something new for this venue. You will have to bring your own camp beds / sleeping bags.
Please remember it operates as a museum, so has no shower facilities etc..
You may of course choose to leave after the investigation if you prefer a comfy bed, or don’t want to share with the ghosts!
The prison had a reputation that put fear into hardened criminals.

The old cells are said to feel oppressive. Screams and footsteps have been heard , and dark shadows spotted around the building.
Hot and cold drinks and biscuits provided.
